Sheriff's Citizens Academy Offering by GCSO

The Goodhue County Sheriff's Office is offering the Sheriff's Citizens Academy, starting February 10th, 2025. Citizens Academy attendees will gain a working knowledge of the Sheriff's Office, such as the uniformed patrol division, special operations, criminal investigations, E911 operations, jail operations and other areas. It consists of 10 classes for three hours per session. Deputies, supervisors, and other personnel with expertise in different sections of the Sheriff's Office will conduct each instructional block. Applications are due by January 27th. Approvals to attend the academy will be sent out by January 31st.
